I have an amazing sister!

Her name is Patti Warsheski and she is also a Realtor with my company, The Premier Property Group.  Patti’s heart is about as big as the sun, sometimes to the detriment of her pocketbook – but she doesn’t spend a lot of time worrying about that.

Recently she stopped into a local convenience store to grab Hearta drink and she overheard a conversation.  A visibly distraught lady was talking to the store clerk trying to determine the location of the closest car rental place.  Apparently her car had broken down, stranding her, her husband and their baby.  Our area is a beach community and this lady and her family were here on vacation.  She was literally getting nowhere fast.

Patti stepped up and introduced herself.  She told the lady that the closest car rental place was at the airport – just about 20 minutes away.  And then…. offered to drive her there!  After a short stunned silence, the lady accepted her offer.  The funny part was that the husband was standing there, holding the baby, with a look on his face that said something like “oh my gosh, my wife is about to get in a car with a complete stranger and I don’t know whether to tackle her or thank her!”  Patti handed him her business card and said I know this is weird, but this is who I am and this is my office, you are welcome to give them a call.

Everything worked out fine – and I know you are thinking she was crazy to put a stranger in her car!  But she said she just knew it would be fine and it was the right thing to do.  When the lady offered to pay for her gas, Patti told her no thank you.  She told her to just pay it forward.
